No cost, no obligation
Find out what's actually wrong before it costs you
We review your network, security posture, backups, and compliance readiness, then hand you a written report. You keep it either way.
How it works
- 01
A short conversation
Twenty minutes on the phone or in person. What you run, what's been going wrong, and what you're worried about. No sales deck.
- 02
We look at the actual environment
Network, endpoints, backups, identity and access, patch status, and security posture. Read-only — we are not changing anything.
- 03
A written findings report
What we found, ranked by risk, in plain English. Including the things that are fine — you should know what's already working.
- 04
You decide what happens next
The report is yours whether you hire us or not. Hand it to your current provider if you like. We'd rather be useful than pushy.
What we look at
- Backup coverage — and whether a restore has ever been tested
- Endpoint protection, patch levels, and end-of-life systems
- Identity: MFA coverage, admin accounts, stale users
- Firewall configuration and network segmentation
- Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace security settings
- Email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and phishing exposure
- Dark web exposure of your domain credentials
- Documentation gaps — what nobody has written down
- Compliance posture against what applies to your industry
- Cyber insurance questionnaire readiness
Questions about the assessment
Is it actually free?
Yes. No fee, no obligation, and you keep the report. We do this because the fastest way to show what we're worth is to find something real that nobody else caught.
What if we already have an IT provider?
That's fine, and common. A second set of eyes is worth having, and plenty of assessments end with us telling a client their provider is doing a good job. If that's the answer, that's the answer.
Will this disrupt anything?
No. The assessment is read-only. We look at configuration and posture; we do not change settings, install agents that persist, or take anything offline.
How long does it take?
Usually a few days end to end, depending on how big the environment is and how quickly we can get access to look at things.
What do you need from us?
Read access to look at the environment, and someone who can answer questions about how things are set up. That's it.
